Honey Garlic Salmon Recipe

If you love spicy fish dishes make sure to add red pepper flakes. However, even if you don’t the salmon will still taste amazing.

Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

How to Cook Honey Garlic Salmon

In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and red pepper flakes (if you want to add some hotness).

Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the top.

Allow the salmon to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade and shake off any excess.

Cook salmon for 3-4 minutes per side or until fully cooked.

Serve hot with additional marinade poured over the top if desired.

Notes

I like to add some roasted sesame seeds just before plating. I also garnish the salmon with some thinly sliced spring onion, dill, or chives.
