Ingredients
  

  • 6 salmonfillets about 6 ounces each
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Combinesugar, lemon juice, and salt in a medium bowl; whisk to mix well. Place salmonfillets in a glass dish large enough to hold salmon in one layer; pour marinadeover salmon.
  • Cover salmontightly with plastic wrap and marinate salmon in the refrigerator for 2 hours,turning salmon once after 1 hour.
  • Preheatthe grill for medium heat. Remove salmon from the marinade; reserve leftovermarinade for basting salmon as it cooks on the grill.
  • Place salmonon the grill and close the lid. Grill salmon for about 4 minutes per side,basting salmon with reserved salmon marinade during the last two minutes ofcooking time.
  • Test salmon for doneness, use a fork to carefully lift salmon from the grill;it should be firm and barely flake when tested with a fork or thermometer

Notes

Grilled salmon is best served immediately with lemon wedges to squeeze over the salmon or with Greek yogurt mixed with chopped fresh dill and salmon roe if desired.
