Fine Dining Poached Salmon Fish Recipe

A healthy fine dining poached salmon fish recipe that you can make within minutes at home. When cooking with fish it is important to get the best quality you can because unlike meat fish doesn’t have a lot of flavors of its own.

If your fish smells like ammonia then it’s no good for eating. Fine dining often uses sauces rather than spices on their fish recipes to give the different types of fish the desired flavors.

One of the most famous fine dining fish recipes is poached salmon. Salmon is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for brain health, heart health, eyesight, physical development, and mental development. Omega-3s are also known to help lower blood pressure.

There are also many other benefits that come with the consumption of salmon. Omega-3s reduce inflammation in the body and may play a role in reducing arthritis symptoms.

They also promote good eye health by helping to preserve vision and reducing the risk of dry eye syndrome. This healthy fish can also help to lower your cholesterol levels through better circulation. The result is a cleaner circulatory system that lessens the risk of heart disease or stroke

Fine Dining Fish Sauce

Fine dining fish dishes like this are usually served with a sauce rather than spices and one of the most popular is Hollandaise Sauce. There are many different recipes for it but they all follow the same basic method.

You heat up the water in a pan until it starts to bubble and then mix in some butter, stirring as you go until it’s melted. Then add some lemon juice and remove the pan from heat while you stir in egg yolks. Finally, add salt and pepper to taste.

Easy Fine Dining Poached Fish Recipe

This recipe is easy to follow and doesn’t require a lot of ingredients. Although you can use other types of fish, I like to use salmon.

Ingredients

2 lemons halved vertically

4 salmon fillets

2 cups water

4 tablespoon butter

4 eggs yolks

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

How To Cook Fine Dining Fish

Put the lemon halves face down on a cutting board and slide your knife between them so it’s pointing toward the pith (the white stuff). Cut enough to get at the yellow part of the lemon but be careful to not cut all the way through.

Place each filet in its own pan with a glass lid and place the lemon halves on top of them.

Add water until it just reaches beneath the fish. Pour out any excess that you don’t need.

Heat up enough butter to coat four filets, about 1 tablespoon per filet, and add the lemon juice until it’s equal in volume to the butter.

Remove from heat and mix in egg yolks, then add salt and pepper to taste.

Poach the fish for about 10 minutes or until cooked all the way through. Serve with sauce. I also like to serve with some vegetables such as two asparagus or a piece of carrot

Final Thoughts

Salmon fish is rich in omega-3 – an essential fatty acid that can be beneficial to your health. This is especially so when you cook it healthily. Salmon is one of the most popular fish types and is incorporated in many dishes.
